APRN / PA Hospitalist - Daytona Beach

Summary

Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi-specialty staff HMO, is seeking an APRN / PA for our Hospitalist Group at AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL. The APRN or PA shall provide hospital services to members admitted to Advent Health Daytona   Beach in Daytona Beach, Volusia County, Florida.  This position is full-time, 12-hour shifts, 7 am to 7 pm, 7 days on, 7 days off, Thursday – Wednesday.

• Admitting & Discharging Services.
• Inpatient/Attending Services.
• Medical Consultation Services.
• Emergency Room Evaluations.
• Coordination of Patient Care During Transitions.
• Administrative Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ post licensing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited program leading to certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse / Physician Assistant required.
• Current licensure and certification required by the State of Florida to practice as an APRN or PA.
• Must be skilled in providing care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to instruct patients and their families and to collaborate with health team members.
