Job Description


Four Seasons Living Center is looking for anenergetic, results orientated team leader with superior interpersonal andcommunication skills. Successful candidate must be a team player and lead byexample in how to create and function in a team environment. Responsiblefor timely and accurate billing to insurances. Responsible for alldocumentation in Point Click Care Billing Software and compliance withinsurance contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities include but notlimited to:

  • Responsible for clean claims submission to all insurances including but not limited to, Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care.
  • Ensures timely follow up on all submitted claims.
  • Maintains an organized work environment.
  • Actively reviewing accounts receivable aging to ensure due diligence.
  • Assure accuracy of patient data and prepare billing according to regulations
  • Investigates delinquent accounts making recommendation on disposition of outstanding balance; contact third party organizations when necessary to facilitate timely payment of charges
  • Provide timely notation of action taken on patient accounts; process refunds to insurance carrier or patient; correct late charges; monitor insurance coding and effective/exhaust dates
  • Respond to patient account inquiries
  • Manage the resident trust fund
  • Daily banking and cash posting
  • Daily and monthly cash reconciliation
  • Follow the proper Social Security, State and Medicaid regulations.
  • Collections
  • Social Security Rep Payee management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Medicare/Medicaid billing regulations
  • Demonstrated experience working with PCC healthcare software
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care, cost accounting, cost allocation
  • Working knowledge of billing and collection activities
  • Working knowledge of account reconciliations

Candidates should have the experience and/or knowledge ofMedicare & Medicaid reimbursement, consolidation of billing; management ofresident trust account, ability do complete daily cash/check deposits, dailystaffing/financial reporting, and complete purchase orders for the facility.The ideal candidate would have worked in a long-term care facility, have atleast two years related experience, experience using Microsoft office and ateam player with excellent work ethic and positive attitude. This position willrequire the candidate to work some weekend and evening hours.
