## **Overview**

As of July 14, 2025, the step 1 rate for pay grade 23 will be \$27.50

per hour.

Vermont State Parks seeks a positive, energetic, hardworking

administrative professional to join our Central Office team. The

Administrative Services Coordinator III position supports multiple

facets of park operations. The position is heavily involved in

recruiting, hiring and placing our 400 seasonal staff each year,

including providing training and assistance to the four Regional Teams,

and working closely with our Human Resources partners. The position also

coordinates statewide efforts managing our reservation and Point of Sale

program. Other duties include, but are not limited to, event planning;

marketing support; merchandise program support, park supply procurement;

and general administrative support; among other duties. The

administrative services coordinator III works under the supervision of

the Chief of Park Operations, but works closely with the Sales and

Marketing Manager, Administrative Services Manager, Parks Director, and

the four regional teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who

thrives when working on diverse projects and supporting multiple

programs. Candidates should have strong communication skills, attention

to detail, and willingness to tackle various assignments. Work is

primarily in an office setting. This position works out of the parks

central office in Montpelier with frequent opportunities to telework.
