The Senior Accountant will be primarily responsible for accounting related to equity, acquisitions and special projects as designated by the Director of Financial Reporting.

Responsibilities
This is a in office position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain equity roll forward schedules for a high volume of minority interest owners and prepare related journal entries
- Ensure capitalization table accurately reflects current entity ownership
- Work with the legal department on ownership changes and related entity valuations
- Responsible for allocation of net income to minority owners through a complex ownership structure
- Account for monthly transactions and interest accruals on related-party and intercompany debt
- Prepare equity, investments, and related-party account reconciliations
- Calculate and coordinate payment of minority interest owners’ monthly/quarterly cash distributions
- Track acquisition related holdback payments, facilitating approval and payment
- Work closely with operational accounting to explain changes in account balances and provide supporting documentation
- Assist in the preparation of financial statement audit materials, including the consolidated statement of stockholders’ equity

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Experience with NetSuite and/or similar product preferred
