Clean Harbors is hiring a **Technical Service District Sales Manager** to grow, expand, and maintain a defined revenue and customer base within the assigned district. This role also includes managing the district's Account Managers.

+ Hire, train, lead, and coach a team of outside sales representatives in developing account strategies, creating sales plans, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing key customer accounts as needed

+ Create and manage defined sales territories to ensure optimal market coverage and growth

+ Regularly present district sales performance, forecasts, and strategic plans to district and regional leadership

+ Leverage in-depth knowledge of the local business environment to support the development of sales and marketing initiatives aligned with regional objectives

+ Oversee the districts business portfolio to drive revenue growth and maximize territory profitability

+ Manage the sales team to consistently meet or exceed established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

+ Develop and implement customer targeting tools and strategic marketing campaigns

+ Collaborate with district operations leadership to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and plans

+ Enhance the district sales teams proficiency in Salesforce through ongoing training and support

+ Partner with district operations to develop and deliver relevant sales training programs and presentations for branch staff

+ Ability to travel 50%

+ Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered

+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in outside sales, with a proven track record of success

+ At least 5 years of experience in directly managing and developing staff

+ Demonstrated business acumen, with a strong ability to develop, manage, and analyze budgets and forecasts

+ Solid understanding of the environmental services industry, including current trends and best practices

+ Proven track record in account management and business development, with a focus on customer retention and growth

+ Proficiency in using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms to manage customer relationships, sales territories, quotas, and performance reporting

+ Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service

+ Ability to design and deliver effective training sessions and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

+ Experience in full-cycle talent management, including interviewing, hiring, training, and team development

+ Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

+ Skilled in conflict resolution and dispute management, with a focus on equitable outcomes

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade across all organizational levels

+ Strong team leadership and motivational capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative work environment

+ Ability to establish clear objectives, performance indicators, and accountability standards

+ Sound judgment and effective decision-making skills under pressure

+ Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

+ High degree of integrity, reliability, and professionalism

+ Must possess a valid drivers license
