Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 5 years of recent experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a Level 1 trauma acute care setting.

• Work in an acute care hospital with three MRI scanners in a Level 1 trauma center
• Serve both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Perform MRI studies on outpatients, inpatients, critical care, ER, and pediatric cases
• Use GE Explorer Lift 24.0 OS 1.5T, GE Architect 26.0 OS 3.0T, Siemens Espree 1.5T, SECTRA PACS system, and EPIC EMR
• Proficiency with the GE Architect scanner and SECTRA PACS is required
• Schedule consists of 12-hour shifts: Saturday and Sunday day shifts, and Thursday night shift
• No floating to other departments
• Orientation includes three day shifts and two to three night shifts as needed
• Gray scrubs are required
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Local candidates within 80 miles are accepted
• Clinical team structure supports both inpatient and emergency care
• Candidates who previously worked at the facility must have at least a 6-month gap since their last employment there

• Minimum 5 years recent experience as an MRI Technologist
• Current ARRT (MR) registration and BLS certification required
• Proficient in neuro, MSK, and abdominal imaging
• Experience with adult and pediatric MRI studies
• Ability to independently perform MRI studies for all body parts in various settings
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• License required if applicable
