Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve performance goals.
  • Work alongside sales reps to sell waste and recycling services to new and existing commercial clients.
  • Manage a book of business while developing strategies for prospecting and growth.
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure service excellence.
  • Prepare bids, manage weekly call reports, and oversee sales pipeline activity.
  • Engage in local business associations and industry trade shows to drive visibility.
  • Document customer feedback, track contract expirations, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues.
  • Develop territory plans, pursue new market opportunities, and strengthen client relationships.

What Were Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in an outside sales environment.
  • 5+ years of successful B2B contract sales experience with a proven record of results.
  • Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, competitive mindset with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Availability outside normal business hours as needed.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
