ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for using systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for firm products. The Incumbent is responsible for developing, modifying and executing software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. They will also analyze and write test standards and procedures, maintain documentation of test results and provide feedback to the development engineers to address issues and debug software products. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. The Incumbent must work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining accurate and detailed records, and demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:

Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop and maintain quality standards for firm products

Develop, modify and execute software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing

Analyze and write test strategy, standards and procedures in alignment with leading practices

Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software

Identify and implement improvement opportunities to automate integration, test, and deployment of solution quality

Continuously monitor to proactively identify quality issues

Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action

Consult with development engineers in resolution of incidents and problems

Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems and computation software

This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The

Education

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of experience in quality assurance engineering or software testing.

4-6+ years of experience in quality assurance engineering or software testing

Knowledge of software testing standards, policies, methodologies, tools, and processes

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
