Position Overview:

We are looking for a remote psychiatrist to provide medication management and psychotherapy services to our adult clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anxiety, depression, and trauma, and be comfortable working with clients who are also receiving therapy through our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult clients
• Provide medication management, with a primary focus on pharmacological interventions
• Offer psychotherapy services as needed
• Collaborate closely with our team of therapists in treatment planning and ongoing care
• Participate in regular team meetings to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with completed residency in Psychiatry
• Current and valid license to practice psychiatry in New York State
• Board certification in Psychiatry (preferred)
• Experience in telemedicine and remote patient care (preferred)
• Strong understanding of anxiety, depression, and trauma treatment
• Experience in both medication management and psychotherapy
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
