**HOW PROJECT/PROGRAM MANAGER III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT**

As a Program/Project Manager II supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) in Charleston, SC or Norfolk, VA, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter

Serve as a Team Lead to provide oversight, guidance, and technical expertise for the assigned projects, logistics, training, testing, or other relevant activities within the DHRES II program

Meet with Lead Government staff and develop the plans and program schedules

Your experience managing multidisciplinary teams performing inter-related activities across a geographically dispersed program and understanding of the DoD Systems Acquisition Process will ensure program success

Work with the PM and other Team Leads to develop detailed project plans and provide continued updates

Identify program risks and develop mitigation plans

Work closely with the PM to provide levels of efforts, plan the schedule, and manage scope

Define and implement software engineering processes as applicable to projects

Attends government IPTs and other technical meetings

**WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED** :

**Education** : Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business. Individuals shall have PMP certification or be a certified DAWIA Level 2 or 3 in Program Management

**Experience** :

15 years of technical experience in support of program/projects, to include: Equipment Support, System Support, and Programmatic Support

8 years of Program Management experience, to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning. Experience shall include: supervising project personnel and/or team, scheduling work, writing proposals and/or preparing bids, and experience ordering and/or transporting equipment and material.

5 years of experience as manager of information assurance or computer network defense projects.

**Preferred Experience** :

Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following Cloud Service Provider environments:

+ NIWC Atlantic Data Center and Cloud Hosting Services (DC2HS), USMC Hybrid Cloud Services

+ USAF CloudOne Services

+ NIWC Pacific Cosmos Services or Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division

+ (NAWCAD) Digital Networks & Applications (DNA)

+ Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Hosting services

Demonstrated experience with DevSecOps Rapid Assess and Incorporate Software Engineering version 2.0 (RAISE 2.0)

**Technical skills** :

Candidates shall have a PMP certification or be a certified DAWIA Level 2 or 3 in Program Management

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products

Knowledge/experience with Asana, Atlassian Suite of Tools Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, BigPicture Project Management Data Center for Jira Software

**Security clearance level** : Secret

**Skills and abilities** :

Experience briefing senior-level officials, presenting written communications for their consideration, and managing the client interface

Experience managing geographically disbursed teams

Candidates shall have knowledge of FAR and DoD procurement policies and procedures

Candidates shall have written and oral communications abilities commensurate with this management role

Strong problem solving and customer engagement skills

The likely salary range for this position is $146,200 - $197,800. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
