ECS is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to work in our Fairfax, VA office. ECS is seeking talented professionals to join our successful and growing team in building the next-generation Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Cyber data solution. The CDM Program is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) dynamic approach to strengthening the cybersecurity of Federal networks and systems through better awareness and visibility into their security posture and cyber threats. ECS is responsible for designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining a complete 'Data Services' solution which includes the collection, normalization, visualization, and sharing of cyber data from more than 100 Federal agencies. The CDM Data Services product is an integrated suite of multiple Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, software configuration packages, and custom code which work together to operate as an integrated solution tailored to meet Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements. We are seeking professionals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment where problem-solving, critical thinking, and a holistic approach to serving the mission are key. Our program operates within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). An aptitude and enthusiasm for continuous learning, improvement, and cyber security is a must! ECS is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer that can validate initial stakeholder requests, evaluate technologies, and provide feedback and guidance on various aspects of solution design. This role will involve working across teams with the goal of optimizing development, delivery, and operations of our solution. Motivation to explore problems, to find creative solutions and grow existing skillsets is a must. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and engaging team members who love a challenge! The ideal candidate will be able to align to the following duties: Install, configure, maintain, update, manage and refine information systems Ensure system components maintain compliance with client requirements Examine vulnerabilities and determine actions to mitigate them Coordinate and/or provide support for applications and operations Recommend, schedule, and/or implement repairs within the environment Conduct functional, interoperability, and security testing Analyze system performance for potential security and performance problems Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and plans Provide knowledge transfer to team members and clients as needed Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust Suitability At least 3 years of experience designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining solutions within Cloud Service Providers (AWS GovCloud preferred) At least 3 years of infrastructure experience related to network security Experience designing solutions within the Government Cyber Mission Space and legal constraints applicable to civilian Government Agencies (e.g., FISMA, FIPS, SecOps) Experience supporting Cloud Engineering and Automation (e.g., DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline, Infrastructure as Code)
