The Impact Youll Make in this Role
As a Quality Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Supporting test vessel projects or process improvements, along with trouble shooting, investigating, and analyzing anomalous product or process performance.
- Leading and executing test method validation and cross-over studies.
- Running experiments to support plant efforts to characterize and standardize test vessel process performance parameters for process/product understanding. Design of experiments and method improvement (NPI and capability).
- Assisting with product qualifications and test cycle development.
- Updating internal processes, work instructions, and internal systems to align to best practices for medical device manufacturing while meeting business objectives
- Documents results, observations and conclusions in technical notebooks and prepares reports to communicate results to appropriate personnel. May occasionally train, counsel, and guide the technical and administrative work of others.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited institution in Engineering or Science discipline AND 2 years of quality engineering experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
OR
- High School Diploma/GED AND 6 years of quality engineering experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience as a manufacturing or quality engineer in a medical device manufacturing facility
- Experience analyzing data for trends, special causes, and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Professional skills include listening, reading, writing, speaking, persuading, influencing, interpersonal, and team leading skills as well as project management skills.
- Professional certification, such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) through American Society for Quality (ASQ), is preferred.
Work location: Onsite Flemington, NJ
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic
