About Us**

**What You'll Be Doing**

+ Oversee QC for 9 agg plants, Philadelphia portables, Downingtown recycle

+ Provide technical guidance and support to ~8 indirect reports

+ Monitor/manage day to day compliance with specifications/targets

+ Heavy engagement with QC Techs on testing, customer complaints, statistical tracking

+ Perform hands-on lab work as required

+ Must be available as required for nights/weekends

+ Engage with Operations, Sales and Construction on product quality, bid specifications, etc.

+ Annual update of state required PennDOT QC plans, also ensure compliance throughout year

+ Oversite of daily DOT certifications

+ Identify continuous improvement opportunities (product and yield optimization)

+ Implementing required standards, processes in HM labs

+ Implement corrective action for any deficiencies found in labs or Technicians

+ Training and development of new Technicians

**What Are We Looking For**

+ Previous experience in the Hot Mix Asphalt Industry

+ PennDOT Aggregate Technician certification preferred. Must be willing and able to pass the certification if it is not currently held

+ Solid computer skills, MS Excel experience is required

+ Demonstrated basic math skills

+ Must be able to left over 50 lbs. on a regular basis

+ Ability to work overtime as needed including nights and weekends

+ Ability to work independently

+ Strong communication skills to interact with customers, contractors and plant personnel
