What You Will Be Doing

As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Designing, developing, and implementing embedded software solutions for Rotary Wing Sensors, supporting both USMC sensor upgrades and FMS deployments. Applications include: Sensor Control and algorithm implementations to supporting Tracking, Boresight and BIT. Candidate will also be integrating the SW with the custom HW. The individual will need to have strong C/C++ skills with experience with object-oriented development and an ability to quickly learn the current architecture in order to support upcoming milestone events.

- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance so must be a US Citizen.
- Experience with software configuration control processes and tools (gitlab, bitbucket, or equivalent)
- Working familiarity with software development in Linux.- Experience with design patterns for embedded development using a real time operating system (RTOS).
- Familiarity with containerized development and deployment environments, Data distribution service (DDS), DevSecOps (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing)
- Familiarity with Yocto OS development
