Construction Estimator

West Coast Contractors, Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Construction Estimator. Project mix will consist of heavy, highway, bridge and marine construction.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Interpret plans and specifications and review design documents to identify risks and opportunities on a project.

· Complete take-offs

· Analyze subcontractor proposals

· Presentation of estimates to Owner and project team

· Prepare bid packages and conceptual estimates

· Interface with Owner, A/E's and contractors to provide cost data regarding project feasibility

· Assist in the planning of construction including preparing preliminary progress schedules

Skills:

· Strong written and oral skills

· Knowledge of budget and expense control

· Able to write reports and business correspondence

· Computer skills- Microsoft Office applications, MS project and experience with InEight preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000. to 130,0000. per year depending on experience
