UpScriptHealth is the leading provider of telehealth services, offering treatment options direct-to-consumer leading to better access and lower cost. HCPs in our network, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for dozens of conditions.

We are actively recruiting high caliber medical doctors who will conduct visits with patients for obesity management (Weight loss).

Not accepting applications for PA, NP at this time.

License Requirements:

  • Active DEA Certification
  • Registered and has access to Prescription Drug Monitoring Program lookup
  • Active Medical License and PDMP access in any of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IA, OH, NE, NY, NJ, NC, TX, or PA, 

Ideal Candidates

  • Commit to minimum of 15 hours a week

  • Kind and empathetic personality, who will provide an exceptional patient experience on each visit

  • Knowledge in obesity management and/or weight loss treatment options for patients

  • Certified by American Board of Obesity (ABOM) (preferred but not required)

  • Good telephone manners and etiquette

  • Tech savvy

  • Thorough charting into patient record after every interaction and visit
  • Knowledge of lookg up Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) prior to completing visit
  • Knowledge of scheduled IV prescription options for Weight Loss (phentermine)
  • Have access to a secure environment to work from.

Highlights/Responsibilities

  • Set and manage your own schedule (minimum of 15 hours/week)
  • Patients will schedule visits based on your availability
  • During visits, review patient charts, determine which treatment is appropriate (if any) through audio/video calls, as well as written communications.

  • Discuss and review patient's medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications
  • Login to each state PDMP site to review patient RX history prior to prescribing as needed; entering detailed notes into patient chart on each visit 
  • Provide accurate diagnosis, treatment plans, and medication prescription through audio and video calls, as well as written communications
  • Review patients' progress on follow-up visits, and determine changes in treatments, and/or titration as needed.

Compensation

 $30 per completed audio/video visit

 

A completed visit is either an approval or denial of prescription request. There is NO incentive to prescribe.

Start Date: Within 2 weeks of training - start immediately
