Dental Hygienist, Full or Part Time

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to become a part of our Dental team! You will coordinate dental services at our state-of-the-art office in West Nyack, NY.  We are looking for a competent dental hygienist with great bedside manner, great hands skills and top-notch customer service. 

Dental hygienist should put their patients' health above all else, be able to explain dental procedures and have familiriaty with dental coding. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities

• Properly greet patients and make them feel comfortable
• Administer prophys, sealants, flouride
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
• Perform SRP's and arestin administration
• Assist in treatment planning
• Help patients understand their oral health situation
• Provide nutritional and tobacco counseling

Requirements

• Proven experience as dental hygienist
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• All necessary certifications as required by state law
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• Graduating from hygiene program
• Additional certification or training is an asset
