This community-based inpatient hospital is located just outside Hartford, Connecticut, offering comprehensive psychiatric care in a supportive, team-oriented setting. The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call requirements. Clinical duties include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, and managing medications for patients requiring acute psychiatric care. The clinician will collaborate with nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and physician technicians to ensure effective care delivery in the inpatient psychiatric unit.
