Pipefitter - Small Bore Stainless Steel Piping | Alexandria, VA

Rivet is recruiting for an experienced Pipefitter to support a small bore stainless steel piping project in Alexandria, VA. This position will support fabrication, fitting, and installation of stainless steel piping systems and is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial process piping or instrumentation piping systems.

Pay: $36/hour
Per Diem: $700/week
Hours: 50+ hours per week
Duration: 5+ weeks

Responsibilities

Fabricate, fit, and install small bore stainless steel piping systems ranging from " to 2" diameter
Perform pipe cutting, socket preparation, fitting layout, and assembly
Read and interpret isometric drawings and piping specifications
Ensure proper socket weld gap and alignment per applicable code requirements
Follow stainless steel handling and contamination prevention procedures
Maintain high safety and quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment
Coordinate with welders and project team to ensure proper pipe fit-up and installation

Qualifications

Proven experience fitting small bore stainless steel piping systems
Strong ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and engineering specifications
Experience with socket weld piping systems and proper gap requirements
Knowledge of industrial process piping or instrumentation piping systems preferred
Ability to maintain quality and productivity in a construction environment

Requirements
