Lawns of Dallas is a premier landscape construction and maintenance company in Dallas for over 40 years, specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a Landscape Sales Representative to join our Sales Team and contribute to company growth. The Sales Representative is responsible for meeting with prospective clients and closing sales for high-end landscape construction projects. This role requires a blend of sales expertise, landscape industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate client needs into actionable project proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation: Meet with prospective clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, providing expert guidance on landscape design and construction options.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the design and project management teams to create detailed, customized proposals and presentations that align with client expectations.
  • Sales Closing: Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to company standards.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and local market demands to position the company effectively.
  • Reporting: Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to management.
  • Liase with clients, vendors, and our Construction Team as you guide the entire lifecycle of the project from initial planning to final completion

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in landscape construction, architecture, or a related high-end service industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, landscape architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with high-net-worth clients.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • Basic understanding of landscape design principles and construction processes.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules
    • Knowledge of the DFW Market and local landscape requirements is a plus

Compensation Package
This phenomenal position comes with a competitive base salary and sales commission.
