About Us:
Shining Stars Pediatric Therapy Center is a small, multidisciplinary (OT, PT and ST) therapy clinic dedicated to assisting children in achieving their maximum potential. We foster a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where therapists and assistants work closely with families to encourage growth, independence, and success in daily life.

Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to become a valuable member of our team. The OTA will operate under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to children with various developmental, sensory, motor, and behavioral requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute individualized treatment plans as instructed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

  • Conduct therapy sessions focusing on ADL, fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, executive function, feeding, and play skills.

  • Accurately and promptly document treatment sessions in accordance with clinic policies.

  • Work collaboratively with the OT, other therapy staff, and families to assist each child in achieving their goals.

  • Aid in the preparation and upkeep of therapy materials and equipment.

  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
     

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

  • Current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

  • Experience or a strong interest in working with children and families.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to adapt to the needs of children with diverse abilities and learning styles.
     

Preferred Skills:

  • Pediatric therapy experience (clinic, school, or hospital setting).

  • Knowledge of sensory integration, feeding therapy, or other pediatric specialty areas.

  • Bilingual skills a plus.
