Warehouse Foreman

Aerospace Lubricants, a division of AMSOIL INC, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Foreman at our warehouse facility located in Columbus, Ohio.

The Warehouse Foreman oversees operations at the Aerospace Lubricants 1616 warehouse. Responsibilities include labeling, order preparation, and shipment of products for customers, unloading and organizing of products, inventory cycle counts and reporting; identifies barriers/core problems and applies problems solving skills to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems.

Core Responsibilities:

Order Fulfilment for shipments:

• Administer order preparation based on submitted sales order requirements
• Insure accurate order preparation to customer requirements
• Effectively locate product using batch code verification and organized rack locations
• Print customer specific labels
• Prepare orders properly and timely for shipment
• Complete shipments accurately via LTL, FTL and small parcel shipment methods
• Work with shipping clerk and packaging employees to positively affect OTIF percentage
• Track OTIF for Aerospace Lubricants and roll those metrics to the packaging team

Receiving/Shipping:

• Facilitate finished goods receiving and warehousing for all products
• Coordinate loading schedules with shipping clerk & LTL carriers
• Facilitate small parcel order preparation via UPS WorldShip and FedEx as required
• Assist in packaging components as required between 1600, 5310 & 5300.
• Work with the inventory team to have the necessary finished goods and packing materials to produce all work orders for shipments.

Inventory Control:

• Perform and enter cycle counts through cycle count program
• Communicate inventory discrepancies and damages
• Insure rotation of product (FIFO)
• Organize all inventory into specific bin locations and track with 95% accuracy

Repack:

• Breakdown and label repacked finished goods as required
• Facilitate Macola WO’s and completions within Macola
• Understand best practice of waste minimization and proper disposal as required

Computer: Obtain information to fulfill orders using Macola

Safety :

• Follow all safety protocols and wear necessary PPE as required by the job.
• Bring forth issues and recommendations willingly to provide a safe work environment.
• Display a positive attitude and act as an ambassador of the AMSOIL/Aerospace Safety Program

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
• Forklift Certification
