Join a dynamic team working on Branch Expansion Initiatives. As we continue to grow our network across the country, supporting new builds throughout the branch network. The team plays a critical role in leading projects for the Market Planning and Field Readiness Team, supporting all aspects of new branch launches and maximizing profitability across the JPMorgan Chase network.
As a Senior Project Manager on the Field Readiness Team your projects will have high visibility and impact to directly support the field in the successful launch of their new branches . This role is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence, process improvement, and strategic growth within the Consumer & Community Banking organization. Key attributes for this position includes coordinating across diverse teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver results in a fast-paced, matrixes environment. Additionally having strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to solve problems, implement process enhancements, and mentor others will be beneficial to being successful in this role.
Job responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely execution.
- Develop project plans, set milestones, track progress, and manage risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, field teams, technology, and operations.
- Facilitate regular project updates, meetings, and communications to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process optimization across business functions.
- Design and implement solutions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and job aids to address pain points and improve business outcomes.
- Analyze business data to inform decision-making, track key performance indicators, and support project objectives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and documentation to monitor progress and communicate results.
- Mentor and onboard new team members, interns, and rotational employees, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Organize and lead team-building activities and professional development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with firm wide risk, controls, and conduct standards.
- Proactively identify and address risks, implement controls, and support business resiliency planning.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Minimum 5+ years of proven program/project management experience, with strong analytical skills and the ability to balance detail with big-picture thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others, including leading without direct authority.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with significant experience developing and delivering compelling PowerPoint presentations that drive decision-making.
- Innovative and forward-thinking mindset, able to identify opportunities and envision future possibilities.
- Proven collaboration skills in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Strong communication skills, including group facilitation, presentations, and one-on-one interactions, with high attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to drive and support strategic direction for a department or initiative.
- Occasional travel required.
