The mission of the Department of Sport Management at Liberty University is to expose students to a  Christian   worldview   pertaining to the concepts and principles of sport management, while preparing them to organize, administer, and facilitate sport programs at the corporate, agency, professional, and amateur levels.   Real world opportunities   are provided within a   theoretical framework   to develop knowledge and skills relevant to the performance of these functions.

Working with our   qualified and talented   group of faculty and staff, students participate in learning environments based on the sociological, psychological, ethical, financial, and legal aspects of sport, with job placement   in sport as the ultimate goal.

The undergraduate Sport Management program at Liberty University is approved by the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA), the international accrediting body for the discipline of sport management.
