Small class size enables faculty to provide individual attention to all students. Students are encouraged to pursue experiential opportunities that coincide with academic preparation for entrance into graduate school or the workforce within the sport industry. Experiential opportunities include internships, practicums, and volunteer positions within the local and regional sport industry. New faculty member (and former UMHB Sport Management major) Jason Reese provides excellent background in research to augment academic and practical application.
