Syracuse University David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics

Our graduate and undergraduate programs provide unique opportunities that connect students with sport executives and practitioners. Students come face-to-face with industry leaders at today’s top sport organizations and brands, i.e. New York Yankees, AEG Worldwide, NBA, Fox Sports, MLB, NASCAR, Steiner Sports, Comcast Spectacor and many others. Our students also benefit from the experiential opportunities in the SU Carrier Dome, the only multi-purpose domed sports facility on a college campus

You’ll experience the best of both worlds when it comes to earning a bachelor or master’s degree in sport at Syracuse University Falk College. We are large enough to be able to offer incredible resources, experiences and contacts, yet small enough to allow you to be part of a supportive and nurturing community of faculty, staff, students and alumni.

As a D-1 institution, our facilities are an important part of who we are. We are home to the Carrier Dome, a 50,000+ domed stadium, the Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center, and the Lampe Athletic Complex complete with a 400-meter track, soccer stadium and a 2,700-seat field house. We even house an ice skating pavilion on-campus! And we have an impressive network of alumni and sport and entertainment industry professionals eager to work with our students, people like David B. Falk (F.A.M.E.), Brandon Steiner (Steiner Sports), Mike Tirico and Laurie Orlando (ESPN) , and Patti-Kleinman-Fallick (MLB Network), to name just a few of our Advisory Board members. Building skills and knowledge while you build a network is why our alumni are so successful.

Sport Management Advisory Council:

The Sport Management (SPM) Advisory Council is comprised of a “Who’s Who in Sports.” This esteemed group of sport industry professionals and practitioners provides an inner circle of advisors and supporters for the Department of Sport Management. The council provides input and guidance for short- and long-term goals, student internships, employment opportunities, curriculum development and classroom instruction. It champions the program to prospective supporters, students, business colleagues, and the sport and entertainment industry.
