What will you do?
- Purchase assigned parts and materials (raw & manufactured), using analysis tools provided, including an MRP system
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to ensure on-time delivery
- Continually review the overall value offered by existing suppliers
- Management of Key Performance Indicators (fill rate, OTD, etc.) and the implementation of solutions to meet objectives
- Perform analysis of supplier performance to determine appropriate source, placing purchase orders to ensure product flow
- Resolve issues with suppliers, including recovery from late orders and rejected product
- Contribute to management reports, including status of open purchase orders, backorder list, and supplier measurements
- Manage projects as assigned by the manager, working with peers in other departments
What will make you a successful candidate?
- Bachelors degree in business administration, finance or economics preferred
- 3-5 years directly related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Excellent PC Skills, to include Excel, Outlook and ERP system experience.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
