Our client, a global leader in aerospace and advanced manufacturing, is seeking a Research & Development Engineer to join their team. As a Research & Development Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting process development and prototype build teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Research & Development Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay Range: $55/hour

Whats the Job?

  • Evaluate designs for manufacturability improvements and implement changes
  • Develop robust processes that drive product and business goals
  • Test products and analyze results
  • Perform failure analysis using formal processes and communicate findings
  • Create documentation and communicate status to leadership

Whats Needed?

  • Degree in Engineering (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering)
  • Minimum 1.5 years of professional experience
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Proficiency in design tools (MiniTab, Access, MS Office Suite)
