Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 for Tufts Medical Cente r located in Boston, MA . Tufts Medical Center, part of Tufts Medicine, is an internationally-respected academic medical center a teaching hospital where they pride themselves not only in the sophistication of the care they provide but the compassionate way in which they provide it. Tufts is a 415-bed medical center, and they care for all patients from the tiniest newborns to centenarians.

What You'll Do:
  • oversee day-to-day operations and a team of culinarians and production workers
  • deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations
  • ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance
  • ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • initiate plans for improvments and/or enhancements to existing systems (ordering, food production, handling & safety)
  • ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance

What You Bring:
  • have a proven track record in successful kitchen management in a busy enviornment
  • are experienced with menu planning and development, as well as inventory management
  • can manage multiple priorities while maintaining high quality customer service

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
