General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a multi-location veterinary hospital seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Ambler and Plymouth Meeting, PA. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across both a community-focused primary care practice and a modern specialty and emergency hospital, providing a diverse and rewarding caseload. The hospital is AAHA-accredited and dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, professional collaboration, and ongoing clinical development.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with appointments available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The role includes time shared between two well-equipped facilities and offers a structured, balanced schedule within a supportive team environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality general practice services including wellness care, preventive medicine, diagnostics, and surgery, while collaborating with board-certified specialists and emergency clinicians when at the specialty hospital. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering mentorship, teamwork, and opportunities for continued professional growth.

Practice Details
The hospital operates as a 24/7 AAHA-accredited facility and provides a wide range of services including internal medicine, neurology, surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology, and emergency and critical care, supported by advanced imaging capabilities. The practice is equipped with digital fluoroscopy, CT, radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy, along with an ICU, isolation suites, and a fully integrated EMR system. The environment encourages collaboration between primary care and specialty departments, ensuring continuity and quality of patient care across both locations.

Team
The team includes 24 DVMs supported by experienced technicians and client service staff. The culture is collaborative and mentorship-driven, fostering professional development and a strong sense of teamwork across all departments.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
