General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is looking to welcome a new veterinarian to their team as the current doctors plan for retirement next year. The practice provides care for small animals and is hiring for a Veterinarian position.

Working Hours / Rota
The practice is open during the following hours: Thursday 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-1pm, Saturday 8am-12pm, Sunday closed, Monday 8am-6pm, Tuesday 8am-8pm, and Wednesday 8am-4pm. The ideal schedule for this full-time position would be four weekdays with rotating Saturdays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion. The practice offers flexible hours and scheduling with no on-call expectations.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves full general practice responsibilities, including surgery, dentistry, cardiology, routine and acute exams, and more. All experience levels are welcome to apply, though some surgery experience would be advantageous.

Practice Details
The practice utilizes modern equipment such as digital radiology, a full in-house laboratory, MLS laser, and digitherm scanners, with an ultrasound system scheduled to be added later this year. The team handles a broad caseload and has a culture focused on caring, professional growth, and teamwork.

Team
The practice currently has two doctors and a strong support staff. The environment is collaborative, with monthly training provided to ensure staff skills are current and sharp.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
