Manufacturing Controls Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze plant operations and processes.
• Design and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and process-related issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify challenges, develop corrective actions, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with established quality and safety standards across all activities.
• Deliver clear communication to ensure understanding and alignment across teams and stakeholders.
• Promote and model proactive health and safety behaviors
• Actively identify risks, report incidents, and participate in initiatives that foster an injury-free, interdependent safety culture.
• Apply advanced knowledge of control systems hardware and software to specify, review, and approve designs for new installations or upgrades, ensuring seamless integration across manufacturing systems.
• Implement and optimize networked control systems and data transfer technologies to enhance connectivity, data analysis, and overall production efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electrical required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Control Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with minimizing downtime and optimizing production performance.
• Experience with identifying risks.
• Ability to initiate continuous improvement initiatives.
