Our client, in consumer packaged goods industry is seeking a Customer Demand Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have supply planning, customer service and creative mindset skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Customer Demand Planner
Location: Burlington VT (Onsite/Hybrid)
6 Month Contract (extension possible)
Pay Range: $32 - $40 hourly
Whats the Job?
- This role focuses on ensuring exceptional customer service and product availability through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead weekly team calls and serve as the primary contact for stock issues and recovery timelines.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Business Operations, and Supply Planning teams to resolve constraints and optimize short-term inventory decisions.
- Manage crisis situations including product availability, quality concerns, and microbiological issues, while communicating risks and opportunities to market planners.
- Monitor waste across finished goods, packing, and raw materials, and support innovation and strategic planning initiatives.
Whats Needed?
- Bachelors degree in Operations / Supply Chain -or- equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in Supply Planning, Customer Service, Inventory Planning or Distribution Planning
- Creative mindset with the ability to look at a problem with a number of different perspectives and ideas for a solution
- Proficiency using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI; Rapid Response, SAP System knowledge is preferred
