Introduction
A new state-of-the-art veterinary hospital is opening in Boise, Idaho in December 2025 and is seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice high-quality medicine with access to advanced technology while enjoying a supportive and collaborative workplace culture.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital will be open seven days a week to provide both emergency and general veterinary services. Full-time schedules will be flexible, averaging fewer than 40 hours per week, with a mix of shift types to suit your preferences. No overnight shifts are required unless desired.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver compassionate, high-quality care in general practice, urgent care, emergency medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Responsibilities include conducting exams, interpreting diagnostics, developing treatment plans, and building strong client relationships. Doctors are encouraged to explore areas of interest, with opportunities for advanced procedures and mentorship.
Practice Details
This modern freestanding hospital will feature spacious treatment areas, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, high-flow oxygen therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and 3D CT imaging. The facility is designed to support a wide variety of services and includes expansion space for specialized care based on the team's interests.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
