Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Mandeville, Louisiana, seeking a Veterinarian to join their team in delivering high-quality, individualized care to dogs and cats throughout the Northshore region. This well-established clinic is committed to providing comprehensive services for pets at every life stage.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, and on Sundays from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm for urgent care only. The position is available on a full-time basis, and a sign-on bonus is offered for experienced DVMs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering medical, surgical, and dental care while prioritizing clear client communication and education. Daily responsibilities include physical examinations, diagnostics, developing treatment plans, surgical and dental procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records. Candidates should stay current with veterinary advancements and contribute to the development of the support team. The position is suited to those with professional comportment, strong communication skills, and a client-focused approach.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with diagnostic and therapeutic tools including X-rays, ultrasound, tonometry, EKG, acupuncture, laser therapy, and surgical capabilities ranging from soft tissue and orthopedic procedures to ACL repair and mass removal. Services offered include wellness and prevention, advanced diagnostics, surgical procedures, urgent care, pet boarding, grooming, and daycare. The clinic also incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine into its care model.

The hospital is home to six DVMs and operates with a collaborative and compassionate approach to care, fostering a supportive environment that emphasizes strong communication and dedication to patient well-being.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
