General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Introduction
A well-established AAHA-accredited veterinary practice in Medical Lake, Washington is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team of four doctors. This mixed-animal hospital offers a rare balance of variety, mentorship, and work-life harmony just 15 minutes west of Spokane. With a newly built facility on 19 scenic acres, this is an ideal role for someone passionate about small animal care, large animal medicine, exotics, or urgent care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and closed on Sundays. A full-time schedule is available, with flexibility and no overnight on-call shifts required. Farm calls are supported by a dedicated clinic truck.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a diverse caseload including small animals, exotics, and farm animals. Day-to-day responsibilities include exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and client education, with ample opportunity to pursue specific areas of interest. Urgent care cases are common, so those with a passion for fast-paced medicine are encouraged to apply. New graduates will receive strong mentorship, and experienced veterinarians will enjoy autonomy in a well-supported environment.

Practice Details
The brand-new hospital features digital radiography, digital dental radiography, a fully equipped surgical suite with two tables, portable ultrasound, cold laser therapy, an in-house lab, and a comprehensive on-site pharmacy. Surgical capabilities include advanced equipment such as monopolar cautery. The facility supports both ambulatory and in-clinic services for large animal clients, with no overnight emergency duty.

The team includes four experienced doctors and a dedicated support staff that works collaboratively to ensure excellent patient outcomes and a positive workplace culture. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
