Introduction
Our client is a well-established emergency and critical care hospital serving the Northwest Florida Panhandle. They are hiring for a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join their experienced team. The hospital provides high-quality emergency medicine and surgical care while serving a growing community in need of compassionate veterinary support. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a full-time position, with scheduling to be discussed based on availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering high-quality emergency medicine and surgical care, collaborating with an experienced team, and maintaining clear, empathetic communication with pet owners during critical moments. Clinical responsibilities include splenectomy, GDV surgery, gastropexy, cystotomy, enucleation, exploratory surgery, abdominal mass removal, feline urethral obstruction surgery, pyometra surgery, cesarean section with spay, and laceration repair. The position also involves contributing to a supportive, learning-focused culture while staying at the forefront of emergency veterinary medicine. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital sees a large and diverse caseload and maintains high standards for emergency and critical care medicine. Facilities are equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, doppler, and a surgical suite. A full-service veterinary reference laboratory is located on-site, offering STAT laboratory testing including hematology, chemistry, endocrinology, coagulation, blood gas, lactate, and urinalysis. The practice emphasizes collaboration, excellence in patient care, and providing a supportive environment for its staff.

Team
The hospital has seven DVMs supported by a tenured and highly trained support staff. A strong staff-to-doctor ratio ensures excellence in the care of emergency and critically ill patients while maintaining a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
