Senior Estimator

We are a well-established construction company specializing in multi-family and large-scale exterior projects, seeking a full-time Estimator to join our team.

Position Overview:
The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, organizing and submitting proposals, sourcing material and labor pricing, and preparing essential pre-construction documents for our field teams. The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication and follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and material lists
• Solicit and gather quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Develop and complete proposals, estimates, and spreadsheets
• Prepare and organize pre-construction packages for field teams
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clients, products, and services

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience reading and interpreting construction documents
• Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs
• Team-oriented and collaborative work style

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with rendering or drafting software (e.g., CAD, Chief Architect)
• Experience using Revu Bluebeam
