Job Title: Business Operations Analyst Department: Arts and Sciences | Psychology

The Business Operations Analyst coordinates and oversees day-to-day programmatic activities, administrative functions, and events for the Center for Cognitive and Brain Sciences (CCBS). Manages operations for the Centers regular programs; including but not limited to scheduling, procurement, and logistics. Responsible for facilitating projects from inception through post-implementation needs. Under direction of the Center Director and Sr. Administrative Manager, provides strategic planning and budgeting support for the purpose of building/expanding the interdisciplinary cognitive science/neuroscience community. Considers opportunities for Center collaboration with other OSU groups. Works independently with general instructions. Handles routine issues without supervisory approval. Manages the planning and execution of annual Center events and programs including, CCBS Member Retreat, Undergraduate Summer Institute, CCBS colloquium series, Humanities & Cognitive Sciences Institute, Undergraduate Poster Session, CogFest and Public Events. Oversees interdisciplinary funding competitions including, Summer Graduate Research Awards, Faculty Seed Grants, Undergraduate student scholarships. Coordinates additional projects and ad hoc funding requests as needed. Provides support to the CCBS executive committee. Hire, supervise and mentor student employees (admin and program staff); Oversees Center communications (website, newsletter, social media); writes, designs, and organizes communication and promotional materials for Center programs and works to support center fundraising initiatives.

Minimum Education Required
Bachelors Degree

Required Qualifications
2 years of relevant experience in an administrative capacity is required. Previous experience budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of budgeting and fiscal policies and procedures. Experience in financial analysis.

Additional Information:

Salary range - $55,700-$72,700
