We're currently seeking a highly motivated Process Business Analyst located in Denver, CO.
Overview:
The Process Business Analyst serves as a liaison between stakeholders, development teams, and end-users, driving the successful translation of business needs into functional processes and software solutions. This role involves analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and providing actionable insights to support effective decision-making throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities:
- Proven experience in business analysis identifying process improvement opportunities and using software tools for the implementation.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in requirements gathering and process modeling.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Experience with data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing processes: Examining current processes to identify areas for improvement, such as bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Developing recommendations: Working with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop recommendations for new processes
- Implementing new processes: Collaborating with teams to develop and implement new processes, procedures, and technologies
- Training and supporting staff: Providing training and support to staff on new technologies and processes
- Conducting performance assessments: Ensuring processes are effective through process audits and performance assessments
- Preparing documentation: Preparing documentation and reports to present to senior management and clients
- Identifying risks: Working with project managers and accounting teams to identify and monitor process risks
- Staying up to date: Keeping up with best business practices and technological developments
Preferred skills and abilities:
- Experience with a Project Management Information System (PMIS)
- Experience with creating data dash boards
Salary:
- $30.00-35.00/hr.
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
