Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data analytics sector, is seeking a Cognos Developer with SSIS to join their dynamic team. As a Cognos Developer with SSIS, you will be part of the Data & Analytics department supporting a collaborative team dedicated to delivering innovative reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Cognos Developer with SSIS
Location: Alpharetta, GA (preferred) or Berkeley Heights, NJ (acceptable)
Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week Onsite
What's the Job?
- Maintain and enhance the company's reporting and analytics ecosystem utilizing SQL Server, SSIS, and IBM Cognos.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for accurate and efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Design, generate, and improve reports and dashboards within IBM Cognos to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and system performance.
- Support ongoing upgrades and maintenance of data transformation tools, including transitioning from Qlik Attunity to Qlik Replicate.
What's Needed?
- Proven experience with SQL Server and SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Deep understanding of IBM Cognos report generation, data modeling, and integration techniques.
- Proficiency in C# / .NET for internal application development and authentication services.
- Knowledge of vSAN file structures and their integration into reporting layers.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-performance environments with a collaborative team approach.
