General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established, multi-species practice in Montgomery, Alabama. With over 35 years of service to the local community, the hospital offers a unique setting that includes a dedicated feline-only facility alongside its general practice. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about high-quality medicine and values a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on weekends.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care, as well as building strong relationships with clients through effective communication and education. The role includes wellness care, diagnostics, urgent care, and end-of-life services. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, though surgical skills and strong communication abilities are particularly valued.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service facility offering a wide range of services including wellness care, dental care, surgical services, diagnostics, urgent care, and pet boarding. It is also home to the area's only feline-exclusive clinic, which features a separate entrance, waiting area, and treatment space tailored to the needs of cats. The practice combines decades of experience with a commitment to progressive, patient-centered veterinary care.

Team
The team includes two DVMs and a tenured support staff known for their strong collaboration and camaraderie. The work culture is professional yet relaxed, with a shared commitment to high standards of care and a positive, enjoyable workplace.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
