Sodexo is seeking a skilled and tech-savvy Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team at Lehigh Valley Health Hazleton Hospital , a key facility within one of Pennsylvanias most respected healthcare systems. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a team of 6 employees and supporting both patient dining and retail foodservice operations.

What You'll Do:
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food production
  • Lead, train, and schedule a team of 6 frontline culinary staff

  • Support retail operations including menu execution, signage, and service standards

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP protocols

  • Collaborate with the General Manager on menu planning, inventory, and cost control

  • Utilize digital tools including POS systems, menu boards, and signage platforms

  • Maintain a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment

What You Bring:
  • 2+ years of culinary management experience, preferably in healthcare or retail foodservice
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Proficiency with POS systems, digital signage, and menu board technology

  • ServSafe certification preferred

  • Availability to work a day shift schedule (9a5p or 10a6p) and every other weekend

  • Passion for delivering exceptional food and service in a mission-driven environment
