Pasta Clerk (Seasonal)

The holiday magic is in the air and our Uncle Giuseppes Marketplace in Morris Plains, NJ is gearing up for a festive season! Were seeking an enthusiastic Seasonal Part-Time Pasta Clerk to join our team from November to January 1st, 2026.

This seasonal position offers a salary of $21.05/hour. Since this is a Seasonal position, there are no company benefits associated with this temporary job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh pasta following company recipes and standards.

• Accurately complete daily production and batch records.

• Weigh, package, and label pasta for refrigerated or frozen sales.

• Inspect products throughout production for quality, labeling, and seal integrity.

• Handle inventory carefully to prevent damage or contamination.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Operate all pasta-making and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.

• Follow all facility SOPs, food safety, and sanitation standards.

• Support smooth and efficient daily production runs.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Minimum 1 year of pasta-making experience required.

• Knowledge of packaging or production operations preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

• Proficiency in food safety, sanitation, and production procedures.

• Ability to maintain equipment and work areas per GMPs and company policies.

• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.

• Commitment to quality and enthusiasm for pasta making.

Working Conditions

• Frequent standing and movement on hard surfaces.

• Regular bending, reaching, lifting, and handling of materials (up to 30 lbs; heavier items with assistance).

• Indoor production environment with machinery noise and temperature variations from ovens, freezers, and coolers.

• Possible exposure to cleaning agents and sharp tools necessary for the job.
