Infrastructure Project Manager

Our client, a digital and product engineering partner, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure PM to join their team. In this role, you will lead multi-discipline engineering teams through all design phases. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in design and construction of mission critical or industrial facilities and a proven track record managing complex engineering projects, from concept through construction.

Job Title: Data Center Infrastructure PM
Location: onsite Herndon, VA
Type: W2 contract not open to C2C
Terms: 6-month contract

What Youll Do:
Lead multi-discipline engineering teams through all design phases
Manage external consultants and coordinate between disciplines
Review and approve design deliverables for quality and constructability
Oversee construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, and field observations
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource planning
Interface with contractors and construction teams during build phase
Drive resolution of technical issues and design conflicts
Ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project requirements
Review and process consultant change orders and payment applications
Lead design review meetings and coordinate stakeholder input
Manage permit applications and authority having jurisdiction interactions

What You Bring:
Understanding of MEP systems for mission critical facilities
Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
Experience with design and construction contracts
Familiarity with construction methods and sequencing
Proficiency in project management software
Understanding of commissioning and startup processes
