Pharmacy Laboratory Technician

Signing bonus after successfully completing 180 days of employment of $1000.

ACC Apothecary is a patient focused compounding pharmacy specializing in custom-made prescriptions for pain management, hormone therapy for men and women, sports medicine, thyroid treatments, pediatrics and more. We work with doctors, hospitals, and veterinarians to provide the finest treatment for their patients.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Laboratory Technician - Full-Time 40 hours a week

Position Summary:

Support a licensed pharmacist with the preparing of compounded medications.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

Prepare compounded medications while under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist

Strong mathematical computation skills required

Proper use of compounding equipment such as balances and measuring devices, including procedures for choosing the appropriate measuring devices, limitations of weighing equipment and measuring apparatus and the significance of accuracy in measurements.

Maintain a clean work environment.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

High school diploma, or graduate equivalent degree

National Technician Certification optional

One (1) year Pharmacy Technician experience required

Compounding experience, a plus but will train

• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Able to stand for long periods of time

Maintain a positive, solutions focused attitude

Ability to use good judgement and keep client information confidential
