Working hours are 8:30 to 5:30 pm daily, full-time onsite only.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for all accounting tasks for multiple companies. A successful candidate in this role will be comfortable with collaborating as a team member in a multi-departmental/multi-company environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll coordination, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Maintain general ledger integrity and prepare financial statements for leadership review
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal/state regulations
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals as needed
- Implement and improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and documentation standards
- Support leadership with financial analysis and strategic planning
- Other related duties as assigned to support the accounting department
- Ensure management is fully informed of all accounting tasks and deadlines
- Strict adherence to company and external deadlines with a high level of attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
- High level of proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and communicating financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in real estate accounting or CAM charges is a plus.
- BS or MBA in Accounting or related field.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
