Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their team. Established in 1945, the hospital has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care to both small animals and large animals, including livestock. With a long-standing community presence, the hospital combines full-service medicine and surgery with a personal approach to client care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm. The role can be full-time or part-time, with a flexible schedule designed to support work-life balance. Large animal emergency calls are shared among the doctors on weekends, though cases are infrequent.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will manage a diverse caseload, working across both small and large animal services. Clinical responsibilities include preventative health care, surgery, dentistry, reproductive services, diagnostics, herd health consultations, and emergency support. The role offers a broad scope, from routine wellness care to farm visits and advanced services such as allergy testing and laser therapy. Large animal experience is beneficial, but the position is also well-suited to new graduates, who will receive dedicated mentorship from experienced veterinarians and support from skilled large animal technicians.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, laser surgery, and a therapy laser. Facilities include large animal areas across two locations, supporting farm visits, hoof care, reproductive work, and herd health consultations. Small animal services include preventative care, dentistry, surgery, allergy testing, nutritional guidance, and reproductive medicine. Boarding facilities and prescription diets are also available. The culture is supportive and collaborative, with a focus on balancing high-quality medicine with a positive workplace environment.

Team
The practice is home to three DVMs, supported by experienced large animal technicians and additional support staff. The team fosters a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth, ensuring that both new graduates and experienced veterinarians are well supported.

Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
