Daily Responsibilities:

  • Policy Management: Efficiently manage commercial lines insurance policies, ensuring accurate coverage, timely renewals, and compliance with client needs and regulations.

  • Sales and Client Acquisition: Proactively sell insurance policies to both new and existing clients, tailoring solutions to meet their unique business requirements.

  • Inbound Inquiry Handling: Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from potential clients, providing detailed information and converting leads into opportunities.

  • Health and Wellness Assessments: Conduct thorough health and wellness assessments for clients, integrating findings to recommend appropriate insurance products.

  • Lead Generation through Outside Sales: Actively participate in external sales activities, such as networking events and client visits, to generate high-quality leads and expand client base.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive Industry Experience: Over 5 years as a licensed agent specializing in commercial lines, with a strong focus on new business development as a valuable asset.

  • Active Licensure and Multi-State Expertise: Holds an active Property & Casualty (P&C) license, with proven experience operating in key markets, including New York, California, Texas, and Florida.

  • High-Volume Call Management: Skilled in handling a demanding volume of calls daily, ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction under pressure.

  • Deep Market Knowledge: Comprehensive expertise in the Excess and Surplus (E&S) market, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and wholesale insurance operations.

  • Proven Commercial Insurance Success: Demonstrated track record in commercial insurance sales or account management, driving results and client retention.

  • In-Depth Product Knowledge: Strong command of commercial insurance products and policies, enabling tailored solutions for diverse client needs.

  • Exceptional Communication and Relationship Skills: Outstanding ability to build and maintain client relationships through clear, professional, and persuasive communication.

  • Detail-Oriented and Compliance-Focused: Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and a robust understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Technology Proficiency: Advanced skills in client and policy management software, leveraging technology to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary range: $50,000 - $75,000 annually
