What You Will Do

  • Lead electrical engineering designs
  • Lead your own projects from start to finish with oversight
  • Create layouts of devices, equipment, and electrical systems using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Perform circuiting, panelboard sizing, conduit and conductor calculations
  • Sizes electrical panelboards, circuit breakers, conduits, and conductors
  • Design fire alarm systems and coordinate power requirements for mechanical equipment
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Support bidding, permitting, and construction phases — including reviewing submittals, RFIs, site punch lists, and construction reports
  • Stay current with the Florida Building Code and National Electrical Code (NEC)

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of project design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
  • Location in FL is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within teams
  • Knowledge and practicing use of Revit and AutoCad
  • Ability to develop and produce drawings independently
  • Ability to edit specifications with oversight of Senior PE
  • Knowledge and use of lighting software such as AGi32 is a plus
  • Experience in either SKM or EasyPower is a plus
  • Experience in reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs
  • Ability to perform site punch-lists and develop a construction observation report
  • Ability to manage work on multiple projects simultaneously
